Button tutorial request

Can somebody make a tutorial on how the buttons work (since i know they consist of more pieces and stuff) and i can't figure the test map out.

    Ah damn I had a tutorial somewhere, with a prefab as well.

    I'll find it for you tomorow, I'm off. Post a reminder on my profile, and send me a pm. I'll end up forgetting otherwise. =p

    I can add a lot of other tutorials at the same time then. =]

    Well, here is a Brush-based button prefab I made (as I don't own Portal).

    Well, I think that if you follow the way I did this prefab, you may get your button working.
