They'll make portal 2, no doubt.

Something tells me that Chell will be picked up from the ending (not going to let slip any spoilers) and taken to some kind of prison, or maybe taken to the borealis. There, you will have to escape from the ship and reach Gordon...

And holy crap I'm thinking of a damn good plot intertwining with HL2:EP3 O-o

Portal was just a tie-in with HL2. It just gave us a little bit of what to expect in Episode 3, so I doubt it.

Err i dont think portal is going to have a sequal i am very skeptical on this but i HEARD portal was kind of a tutorial for a EP3 or HL3 or something that has to do with Black mesa like, i think its going to be like a HL repete with diff people places and the portal gun will be accessible BUT I HEARD THIS me and =OoN= Al3x were talkinga bout it at school

According to their Wiki, it says that they are deciding on their goals at Portal 2 like multiplayer, storyline, etc.

Um...if you anyone listens to the commentary in the game the developers hint of a sequel. And to clear up the intertwine between Portal 2 (or maybe Portal EP1) and EP3 isn't going to happen because the events in Portal happen a little before the Combine invade the Earth. If anything, we'll either have an older looking Chell or another character trapped in the prison of destroyed companion cubes and turrets with a mind of their own. Maybe we'll see Gordon finally talk. Something like "Shit, Alyx, you're a bitch" or something like "Oh yea, Chell and Alyx...orgy time"

Portal was intended to be as short as it was. and i believe there will be a sequel to it.

I doubt there will be a portal 2.

That wouldn't really go along with the whole half life theme :P

They will not create "Portal 2" They will either bring out episodes for it (like HL2) or simply update the existing game.

Maybe, you find the portal gun in episode 3. :O
